My New Home
As promised, pictures from my new village.
Me with the volunteer I replaced, Mia.
My living room.
My bathroom. If you can see the tiny hole in the wall behind the toilet, that is where the kitchen sink drains too. The bucket is what I take my "showers" with.
My name is Cara Stuckel and I saw that you are from St. Louis, so am I! I am also nominated to leave for Jordan or Morocco in Late Feb/ Early March. I havent heard anything about my placement, and I'm starting to get antsy, but reading you blog is helping calm my jitters.
If you get a chance, shoot me an email, I would love to talk to you more in depth! carastuckel@gmail.com
These photos are so interesting. The living room looks inviting, comfy, and cozy. The 4th grade students are enjoying your letters very much. Take care, Love, Mom \/m/

I am currently serving as a Small Business Development volunteer for the Peace Corps. I live in a village of about 3000 people in the High Atlas Mountains and work with a women's weaving and embroidery cooperative.

Your apartment looks great! All that's missing are some chickens.
